About Me

I grew up outside Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I graduated from Salem Academy and NYU Film School. I worked for an internet design firm in New York for two years before moving home to North Carolina in 1998. I worked for the State of N.C. in political public affairs television until March 2007 during which time I also completed a Masters of Public Administration (MPA) at N.C. State University. I am fulfilling a lifelong dream to travel independantly for an extended period. After my trip I hope to find a job in government or nonprofit administration.
